Sugar Free Flourless Cake Ingredients

  • 2  large eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups shelled almond
  • 1 cup shelled nuts
  • 1 Turkish tea glass milk
  • 10 dried apricots
  • 10 dried figs
  • 1 packet  of baking powder
  • Grated zest of 1 medium-sized lemon
  • 1 teaspoon   cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon  cacao

Tips for Making Sugar Free Flourless Cake

Grind shelled almonds and nuts using a food processor or blender. Do not put extra oil as nuts release their oil. Grease each muffin cup in the pan a bit if you do not use paper muffin cups.

Baking Suggestion

You can add two tablespoons carob molasses to the cake mixture while whisking the eggs and prefer adding kefir to milk. You can also prefer vanilla to cacao.

How to Make Sugar Free Flourless Cake?

  1. Cut the stems off dried figs and apricots and soak them in the hot water for a short time to swell a bit.
  2. Grind shelled almonds and nuts through a food processor.
  3. Beat the eggs, milk and grated lemon zest until white and fluffy.
  4. Drain and dry the dried apricots and figs and dice them.
  5. Add ground almonds and nuts, diced dried fruits, baking powder, cinnamon and cacao to the beaten egg mixture and continue to beat for a while.
  6. Place paper muffin cups into teflon muffin pan. Divide the cake mixture into cups equally.
  7. Place the mixture in the preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm after removing the cake from the paper cups and share with your beloved ones.
