  • 20 dried figs
  • 100 grams crushed walnut
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons oil

How to Make Walnut Stuffed Fig?

  1. Soak the figs in the warm water (not boiling water) for about 1 hour.
  2. Stir sugar and water.
  3. Then stuff their top with crushed walnut and place them in a pan. Pour sugar water and oil over them.
  4. Cook them over a low heat until the figs absorb the water.
  5. Serve it with walnut or ice cream and kaymak (Turkish product similar to clotted cream) if you wish. Enjoy your meal!
